Capacity, Group Size and booking types.
Scoundrel’s Rest Has seated Capacity for 54 guests including bar seating. Our maximum booking capacity for all events is 60 people. our communal table can comfortably fit up to 18 people, making it perfect for medium to large groups.
In addition to bookings during our regular opening hours, we offer private bookings both inside and outside of our regular hours. Private bookings guarantee exclusive use of the whole venue, as well as the ability to personalise and customise your event.
We are happy to take bookings of up to 30 people during regular trading hours without the need for a private booking. For groups larger than 30, we require a private booking be made. See the section below “Cost” for more details.
Cost
There are no booking fees or flat venue hire fees for any event at scoundrels. We believe in finding the right Package for our guests, and making sure every dollar you spend with us comes back to you in the form of delicious food & drink.
Some bookings with us require a “minimum spend”. Every dollar spent by either you or your guests on food or drink provided by Scoundrel’s Contributes to this minimum spend. At the end of the event, if the minimum spend is not met, you will be charged the difference. It’s worth noting that so far, no group that has made a booking with us has failed to reach their minimum spend. this may be because we’re all too happy to recommend some extra premium, top shelf cocktails to help makeup the difference if need be.
For Groups of 18 or less during regular buisness hours, there are no additional costs or minimum spend is required. Simply fill out the form below and we’ll book you in or get in touch if need be.
For groups of 18 to 30, a minimum spend requirement may be placed if the booking is during peak buisness hours. Fill out the form below and we’ll be in touch with a quote.
For groups of 30 or more, we require a private booking be made for exclusive use of the venue.
Drink Options
In addition to our wide variety of tropical cocktails, Scoundrel’s Rest carries a fully stocked bar with a range of spirits, wines & beers. our two options for drinks service during events are as follows:
Regular Pay-as-You-Go Bar Service
Guests order and pay themselves, as they would during regular bar service. each purchase contributes to any minimum spend requirements. Good option for budget conscious events.
Bar Tab
Guests order from the tab, we settle the bill with you at the end of the event. We can accommodate any restrictions you’d like to place on the tab, such as a cap or limiting the tab to certain drinks. Great option for a touch of Luxury.

Guided Rum Tasting
Host an event worth remembering by allowing our passionate bar team to guide you and your guests through the wonderful world of rum. Price starts at $30pp and varies depending on rums selected for tasting. Maximum 9 people if booking occurs during regular buisness hours, or unlimited for a private booking.
Rum Spicing masterclass
For lovers of Spiced Rum, there’s nothing quite like blending your own! create 3 custom blends & enjoy them neat or mixed into select classic rum cocktails. $75pp, Maximum 9 people if booking occurs during regular buisness hours, or unlimited for a private booking.
Custom Cocktails
The perfect way to really put your stamp on an event, allow us to create a one-of-a-kind custom cocktail for your and your guests to enjoy. For larger bookings, we can even create a whole menu of custom creations. This add-on is standard with all private bookings, for bookings during regular hours terms and conditions may apply. Food Options
Our regular dining offering focuses on international street food, sharable bar snacks and casual dishes packed with tropical flavour. All packages can be modified and adjusted to suit most dietary requirements. Explore our options below to see which best suits your group:
A-la-Carte Ordering
For smaller groups who are happy with a casual dining experience, guests are welcome to simply order from our regular food menu, paying individually or as part of a tab. available for groups of 30 and smaller.
However, please be aware that due to our small kitchen, we are unable to fulfil a large number of individual orders at the same time. This means that by selecting this option, your guests will receive their food at different times, and depending on the size of the group and when people order, there may be a significant delay between orders. If you’re looking for all your guests to enjoy a meal together, we advise selecting one of the options below.
